An unlikely bond is formed between a lonely boy and an elderly man claiming to be a former astronaut. Together they transform a vintage vacuum cleaner into a rocketship for a surprising journey. ROCKETSHIP is the latest short film from award-winning filmmakers Alfred Thomas Catalfo (writer/director of the Web hits THE NORMAN ROCKWELL CODE and BIGHORN, and winner of 21 major screenwriting competitions) and Glenn Gardner (producer of Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner SNIFFER, and BIGHORN). The film was edited by Michael Bernard at FUEL.

THE POND is a moving and surprising story about a young woman distraught over the death of her husband, who sets about scattering his ashes in a place they had both loved and in doing so makes a discovery for which no one could ever be prepared. The richly cinematic film was shot entirely in the picturesque state of New Hampshire and represents Hannon’s directorial debut. Joining the writer/director are the recognizable onscreen talents of Alicia Witt (NBC’s Friday Night Lights, THE UPSIDE OF ANGER, MR. HOLLAND’S OPUS), David Morse (HBO’s Treme, THE HURT LOCKER, THE GREEN MILE) and Todd Rotondi (HOWL). The film was produced by Francine Coughlin and edited by Michael Bernard at FUEL.
